Presenter Fiona Bruce says: "The Antiques Roadshow isn't just about antiques - it's history, beauty and drama all wrapped up in one."
The Antiques Roadshow records programmes across the UK, throughout the year, with some of Britain's leading antiques and fine arts specialists. At the recordings, the specialists are on hand to offer free advice and valuations to visitors who are invited to raid their attics and bring along their family heirlooms, household treasures and car boot bargains for inspection.

Valuation dates

Recording dates for 2013 are as follows. The doors will be open from 9.30am to 4.30pm and as long as you are in the queue by 4.30pm you will see an expert.

Thursday 6 June - Royal Marines Museum, Southsea, near Portsmouth, Hampshire
Thursday 13 June - Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire
Thursday 27 June - Towneley Hall, near Burnley, Lancashire
Thursday 4 July - Gregynog, near Newtown, Powys, Wales
Tuesday 9 July - Scone Palace, Perth, Scotland
Thursday 11 July - The Scottish National Gallery Of Modern Art, Edinburgh
Thursday 25 July - The Sainsbury Centre For Visual Arts, UEA Norwich, Norfolk
Thursday 5 September - The Royal Ballet School, Richmond Park, London
Thursday 12 September - Exeter Cathedral, Devon
Thursday 19 September - Wentworth Woodhouse, near Rotherham, South Yorkshire

PRESENTERS AND MUSICIANS WANTED

PRESENTERS WANTED: 

We've been asked to create some videos to accompany a Primary scheme of books in 2013, for M Education, and we need some on-screen talent (see below).
The important factors to bear in mind are the look (think Nickelodeon for shiny American-ness), accent, and clarity of voice.

The shoot is set for London/Oxford in the late Spring of 2013. Casting would be London-based at end of January.

Story Telling

Age Group: Any, ideally young adult
Look: Very polished, happy, must look neat and tidy.
Accent: Must be an American national with a clear speaking voice.
Skills: Must be able to recite stories as if they are their own
creation, with energy and the ability to physically tell the story.
Number of Story Tellers needed: Ideally six, though we could manage
with four, a mixture of male and female.

Story Songs

Age Group: Any, ideally young adult, though we need a clear age
difference between the two characters.
Look: Very polished, happy, must look neat and tidy.
Accent: Must be an American national with a clear speaking voice.
Skills: Story teller must be able to recite stories as if they are
their own creation and come across with a certain aura of authority.
The singer must have a clear singing voice, be energetic, charismatic
and have comic skills, if possible to also be able to play guitar.
Number of people: 2, one singer and one story teller.
