Programme Presenter - ITV West & West Country-130001KA UK-South West-Bristol Full-time Location: Bristol Permanent  Passionate and committed to regional news and possess creativity and  journalistic skill? Then read on... We are looking for a Programme Presenter to work alongside Ian Axton in  presenting our flagship programme, ITV News West Country. This role requires an active involvement in all stages of production, participating  in planning, programme and debrief meetings, writing scripts for on air and  online, self-editing content and providing editorial guidance and support to the rest of the news team.  You will be expected to come up with ideas on  how to improve and develop our coverage on the web as well as help with  the input of text, video material, blogs, special features and extended coverage  of stories.  As an ambassador for ITV News Westcountry, you will be presenting  on location as well as from the studio, attending public events and representing  ITV News in the community. It is essential for the successful candidate to have presentation and production  experience with the ability to deliver to the highest possible standards. Having a  professional and approachable style and manner at all times is key. You will  have an outstanding proven track record in journalistic originality and creativity  with the ability to react effectively to breaking news stories. As the last check point for potential Compliance, Legal and ITV Trust breaches,  a knowledge of ITV News policy in these areas is essential.
