ACTOR WANTED For FELLSWOOP THEATRE

Bristol
FellSwoop Theatre are looking to cast a male actor in the ensemble driven adaptation of 'Belleville Rendez-vous' which has just returned from its sell-out run both at Edinburgh Fringe and its transfer to the Pleasance Theatre, London. Following this, Belleville is now touring a number of theatres between January 5th - 7th Jan and 22nd Jan - February 14th 2011. With availability needed for potentially more dates wk 27th Feb and wk 12th March.
Belleville was orginally devised by a cast of 12 and uses physical theatre, puppetry and live music. We are therefore looking for a performer who can contribute to a strong and imaginative devising team, and who displays ability and enthusiasm towards dance, mime and music. It would also be a bonus if you lived in Bristol.
However, if you do not consider yourself a movement-based performer, please do not let this deter you from auditioning. We are not interested in casting a trained dancer, our priority is to find someone who work well within our cast and the style of the piece and so we are looking for physical commitment and rhythm in the performance.

The audition will consist of a workshop on Saturday 3rd December at The Wardrobe Theatre 4.30-6pm. All those considering the role must be available to rehearse the week 16th-22nd December 2011, and 2-4th January 2012, and for the duration of the touring dates mentioned above.
The fee for the entire run would be £250, and in addition all travel and accommodation for the tour dates will be paid for. Plus any fundraising, workshops and profit will be divided by the cast.

For more information about Belleville Rendez-vous or FellSwoop Theatre check out our website (www.fellswooptheatre.com), and you can follow this link to watch a showreel from Belleville's first performance at the Warwick Arts Centre (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyDwhR5JGlQ)

If you are interested in auditioning please email Jesse Meadows at fellswooptheatre@gmail.com with your current CV.

Thank you!

Musical 'Thriller Live' on line auditions

Michael Jackson Musical Holds Dance Auditions On Facebook
By Yi Chen on November 28, 2011

Thriller Live is a UK production that celebrates the life and career of Michael Jackson, the King of Pop. Now, the show is seeking dancers by holding a global audition on Facebook.
To audition, participants simply upload their video on the Thriller Live Facebok page, demonstrating ‘techniques, tricks, versatility and style’ in their dance routine. Visitors can then browse the audition tapes and vote for their favorite.
The most popular 15 applications as selected by public votes will then audition live in front of the show’s creative team. Dancers will be considered for the UK production but also for the ongoing worldwide tour next year.

Award-winning Director & Choreographer, Gary Lloyd, commented that:

We are always getting request from around the world to be part of this amazing show and play a part in keeping Michael Jackson’s legend alive. By harnessing the power of Facebook we will create a truly open and global audition process to find superstar dancers for this show.

AUDITION (M) WEDNESDAY

B-Movie director Daniel Marlowe is in pre-production on his second feature film, a wild, sexy, sin-sational thriller!
Imagine it like John Waters does Dynasty vs Black Swan mash-up. Melodramatic, violent and camp! It needs really big, bold performances...Grotesque Glamour!
The film revolves around two starlets who battle it out to win the lead role in a West End show version of Lady Chatterley. Does it sound like a Jackie Collins novel on acid? Good, that's exactly what we're going for! Leave your inhibitions at the door and join my motley crew in a world of surreal cinematic sauciness. Enter the world of femme fatales and mental melodrama, conjured by a truly outrageous artist. My recent screening night at the Cinema Museum was voted TIME OUT Critics Choice.
Would you like to be part of a B-movie destined for cult notoriety? Watch my experimental debut feature film MELTDOWN at rindhouse.com.

CONTESTANTS for The Devils Dinner Party

The Devil's Dinner Party!

We are looking for intelligent, sophisticated, successful people who can hold their own around a dinner table, so if that sounds like you get your application back as soon as possible!

We have already filmed one great block of the show and are moving onto block two so we want to make it bigger and better!

THE SHOW
This is TV's most intriguing popularity contest. Our six guests meet for the first time over champagne - and cautiously assess each other - before one of them endures a sudden elimination. Based on their first impressions, each guest must vote for who they wish to remove from the guest-list before dinner has even started.

Only five guests will move through to the dining-room.

Over dinner, our guests must each answer a personal question about themselves, or their fellow guests. The remaining diners must then use their intuition to predict their answer - and if the group predicts correctly, a thousand pounds goes into the pot.

The group can win up to £7,000 over the course of the evening.

But only one guest will walk away with the winnings - and that's the guest voted favourite at the end of the night...for an application form email  ddp@itv.com
Then send your application form back as soon as possible to ddpapplications@itv.com, and don't forget to include two photos!

Please note: You must be over 21 to apply, and able to travel to one of our audition locations.

Best of luck!
